The service was great, the room was high quality and recently refurbished. Staff were happy to help. The hotel's position was good and fab, in the Loch Lomand area. You can find Usquabae around 4-6 minutes walk from the property to a have lunch.

The hotel had a fantastic location a short walk from Co-op Food. Our deluxe king room was newly renovated with the Aircon set at 28C and castle view. The staff were happy to help with any questions or requests.
Expected that there would be bar, but we didn't find it.

Was well decorated to a certain style without being too grand and pretentious. Very central. Excellent for guests travelling to Edinburgh by air or rail and wishing to visit the tourist attractions and theatres on foot and use public transport or taxis to go further afield.
Price paid was good enough value for money - did not like the e-mail sent a couple of days before hand about stand-by upgrading.
